Believers…
secure in Christ forever, kept by the power of God, and though we are still in the flesh, the old nature’s propensity to sin, we have victory over sin through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. (John 10:27-30; Romans 8:12,13; Ephesians 4:22-24; 1 John 5:4)
Jesus…
the eternal Son of God, fully man, fully God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, a substitutionary sacrifice, literally and physically resurrected from the dead, exalted at the right hand of God, will return in glory. Holy Spirit…
the presence and power of God, fully God, convicts the world of sin, indwells all believers, baptizes them into the body of Christ, and seals them unto the day of redemption. (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 1:13-14,and 18)
Salvation…
the gift of God, by grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the shed blood of Jesus Christ that atones sin. (Ephesians 1:7, 2:8-10; John 1:12)
The Church…
the body and bride of Christ, to glorify God, to take the good news of the gospel of Christ to the world, to build up the body in Christ-likeness. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:25-27; 1 Corinthians 12;12-14)
The Future…
Christ will return. We believe in the imminent, pretribulation and premillennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones; His orderly return to earth, with His saints, to establish His Millennial Kingdom. (1 Thessalonians 1:10, 4:13-18, 5:9; Zechariah 14:4-11; Revelation 3:10, 19:11-16, 20:6)
